SHINICHI OSAWA（MONGO GROSSO）
Musician, composer, DJ, producer.
In addition to working as SHINICHI OSAWA, MONDO GROSSO, and RHYME SO, he has produced and remixed music for various artists in Japan and abroad. His wide-ranging activities include producing advertising music, spatial music and soundtracks, and producing a music bar focused on analog records.
In 2017, he relaunched MONDO GROSSO with the album “Born New Again and Again”. His latest album, “BIG WORLD,” features his transformative collaborations with gorgeous artists, including “IN THIS WORLD” with Ryuichi Sakamoto and Hikari Mitsushima.
In November 2023, he released his first album “IAFB” with RHYME SO. In December, he released “FCKNJP,” his first work under the name SHINICHI OSAWA in 11 years, from the prestigious San Francisco label “DirtyBird” in rapid succession.
His major soundtrack credits include the animated TV series “BANANA FISH” and the film “DYNER” directed by Mika Ninagawa.
